"Tough" Monsters
I added a new field to the monster info on
http://LarkinorGuide.com
a month or so ago for monsters with the "tough" attribute. These are those monsters who are impossible to even hit until you reach a certain level, and then they start dropping like flies. The pukipu and the schismatic count are a few examples. If you can think of any others, please post here so I can try to make this addition to the database a little more useful. Sandy
There's also a class of monsters that are tough only for pure mages simply because they have a lot of hitpoints that can absorb all the damage your manapoints can dish out in a single battle. One example is the country bull, w/about twice the hitpoints of other level 13 monsters. Another prime example is the Thronedern Brasshead at 800 hp -- can take quite a beating but hardly does any damage at all...
