It has just came to my attention after observing top players like PANCHO VILLA,snakedaddy, dreamtaker etc... that it
isnt
 always
how they move
that makes them good players , its actually there
accuracy
when firing rockets nukes and grenades that make them
good players
.
>>>if you think about it ..then well its actually true, for example.. some players could dance around the place like its 1999[img=
http://www.click-smilie.de/sammlung/party/party-smiley-017.gif
] but have accuracy like the iraqui army[img=
http://www.click-smilie.de/sammlung/waffen/violent-smiley-017.gif
](
no offence to aisan people
)and then you could have a new player who moves like a
slowth
but has learnt to fire with
great accuracy
even on fast players...who would win ..well its obvious the new player of course...
please post your views on this theory thanks...[img=

p.s-- where are ratethis and NAVYSEAL lately.. if they have differnet nicks plz tell me

yes i gess thats true. they do have good accuracy because they no the pattern to the person's movement so try to go different ways every time

Well, I think we should consider a very different point here. Perhaps we were accurate. We could shoot any object. We could shoot any object moving in a linear motion givin the fact we knew the rate of motion and created an imagineray bullseye in front of the target. However, a target moving in a nonlinear motion, plus a lag in the time where we release a projectile to the time it would enter the target envelope, would mean that we would have to guess where the bullseye is when the projectile reaches the target.

Given that, most nonlinear motion remains predictable means that we can be both accurate and knowledgeable of where our target will be so we can shoot upon it. If we didn't know where the target is, it wouldn't matter if we were accurate. We don't know where to shoot, so we'll miss.

Well basically anyone who is a good Tanx player will gather as much patterns of movement as possible and use that to fire. It's not accuracy alone that allows you to hit a moving target.

Hopefully you guys understood that. My 2 cents ;)
its just a game, relax and have fun.
my point arsenide is that without good accuracy a player is useless .....say 50% of the time it is accuracy that will win u the game.. this percentage is different for every player according to there accuracy....sometimes it is luck....like sometimes i shoot people by accident and kill them when i dont mean too...
:p

if pancho had rubbish accuracy hes skill level would decrease but it isnt... he has good moves and great accuracy ... thats y hes so good at tanx...its simple..
isnt it arsenide
:) :|
i never noticed i estimated where i would shoot i just do it and i hit my target. man u learn a new thing about urself every day
>>snake i know its jus a game....why dont u enjoy it and stop jumping around annoying everyone....:p.....
im jus sayin ....u fool...
Perhaps it would be easier if I dissected different areas where a player could have skill but not in another:

1) Missile Accuracy (Self-Explanatory)
2) Nuclear Accuracy (Self-Explanatory)
(The accuracies are split because of the different delay times)
3) Grenade Accuracy (Again, self-explanatory)
4) Enemy Movement Pattern Evaluation (This is the guesswork I mentioned earlier. Know where your opponent is in the next second, the better)
5) Self-Movement (Your own movement. More movement changes are better, hence the opponent will need more skill in #4)

And sometimes 6) Cooperation And Teamwork when there are allies on the field.

are you some kinds physics teacher or sumthin dude.....
:p
Sure it accuracy but if you dont move you opponents need no acuracy a 4year old could beat you.
Sniper, I think that this discussion implies that the opponent has a reputable skill in Tanx. The skill of whoever we're fighting is irrevelent.
I think its true that all the players you mensioned are very good shots, but I beleave the thing that makes them different is their attitude. They will do anything to gain an avantage. They are totaly ruthless. and only care about winning. They also have a psycological avantage. This is becouse every one keeps saying how great they are, so a lot of players start to beleave it. This takes me on to my next point. To be a good shot you have got to stay cool. Get angry and this leads to frustration so you fire to soon. Fearing or giving the opponent to much respect leads to hesitation then you fire to late.

Dear Gringo (or whoever you call yourself),

Dude, I hope you gat Bann. Perminently!
This subject really baffles me at times. I started playing Tanx in March of 2003 as mrbluze and have never been able to go any higher than the rank of Captian or First Lieutenant, and those ranks didn't last long. I have practiced, obsereved, read the tips and discussed ways on how to improve, with out any sucess. Some say it depends on the computer that is used, others say it depends on how you are hooked up, and yet others talk about pings. I guess it is the combination of everything. How you move, accuracy when fireing, anticipating your opponent's moves, your computer, your hook up to the net, knowlege of the playing field and the desire to win. Also as time goes on more players join with better skills. Some people are just better than others. I just like playing the game. I always try to remember that it is only a
GAME
! If someone is better than I am at playing a computer game
BID DEAL !!!
Being a good Tanx player doesn't make one good person, that is evident by some of the post in this forum.

:p
thats the 1 thing i personally never forget ... its only a game....but like in all games online or not u have to wonder "how do they do that" or sumthin....:)....

>>ok...so i dont have points but the 1 thing i play for is to be top of the ratio/kills thing.....so i dont need a rate...:p
Point well taken TANK_MASTER, I agree with you the kill ratio does measure a person's skill level with those in that battle. TANK_MASTER this TANK GRASSHOPPER is ready to learn any time.
