I potted the 9-ball on the break after hitting the 1-ball first but it was a foul. It doesn't say anything about it in the rules

This has come up before. It's not a foul in the real game, but in FoD it is. You'll have to live with that I'm afraid.
It was made a foul because people found a way to pot the 1 and leave the 9 over the pocket and then they sink the 9 on the next shot. I can only assume that FlyOrDie determined that it breached rule 2.1 (Points banking) because it was an easy way to win without letting your opponant have a shot.
