hey mine did the same thing just reboot ur pc worked for me :)

If reboot doesn't work clear ur cookies and temp files.

Even though you can type now, i thought i'd mention a way, which should always solve the problem...

Click "all programs" then go up/down/left/right until you come across 

accessories

 then go down and click 

system tools

  then down to 

system restore

 then click that. After clicking that, choose a date in which you were able to write....this works with alot of things I.E. if screen doesn't load when trying to log in. But if the screen has never loaded or even let you type, then obviously you cant restore it.
