Would like to make a comment about 2 ends curling in tournaments(also in regular play but ok).
When the opponent has the hammer and still loses the first end,as a reward he has the hammer again in the last end.
Totally unfair ofcourse. Why not let both players have the hammer 1 time no matter what the result is in the first end?
Who made this rule as it now is in the first place?

This is a rule of curling. But ,you can consider the tactic of blanking an end ,to maintain the hammer.
