I see no need for this when there is also a clock next to their name. 5 minutes a move isn't something we should have for go.

I'm not for the game timer myself, but I believe it is there to keep the game moving.

I believe the game timer is there to keep the game moving. Most games have move timers.

Do you want to wait 1 hour for a move from your opponent?
Some people would use it to bring their opponents to leave the game to win it like this.

What I meant was, the 5 minute move timer in the upper right. [main time can keep ticking]

Some pro players like to spend half an hour on one move. Mostly amateurs don´t.

I occasionally Like to spend 10-15 minutes thinking something out. [then again I also like to play in amateur tournaments.
